Pipe Creek Church
Worshipping Jesus here since 1758 ... this foundation is strong!
MISSION STATEMENT
We commit to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ; to spread the Word simply and sincerely by giving, loving, and serving our neighbors; and by the manner of our living.
VISION STATEMENT (Adopted October, 2023)
We are disciples living joyfully, prayerfully, thankfully, and obediently to the
Word of God, so that the world can see in us, Jesus.
Worship Service: 10:30 am
Children's Church: 10:30am
(2nd and 4th Sundays each month)
What's going on with Outreach?
We continue to support Samaritan's Purse, Union Bridge Food Bank, Shepherds Staff, Carroll County Christian Farmers, and our own Family Crisis Fund. One of the creative ways we support the food bank is making meals in pan. A pan with a receipt and all the ingrediencies needed for a complete meal.
Our ministry is all about Jesus—first, last, and always. As the Apostle Paul said, “For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.” (2 Corinthians 4:5).

Children's Story Time
During Worship
During the summer months we include story time during worship. But now that fall has arrived we return to Children's Church. The second and 4th Sunday of each month the children have there own teaching and worship time. Learning about God and Jesus through the words of the Bible at there education levels.
In a world filled with constant distractions, teaching children about faith and moral values can be a challenging task. Parents are the best teachers and models in a child's life. We seek to assist you.
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12:30-31)

What is Jesus doing in your life?
Feels like God is making everything new around here. We have made many capitol improvements in the past year. Not so much changing the way do things but keeping it going. We remain consistent and constant in our worship of God, our belief in Jesus, and our faith in scripture. But, we do have new sign!
Join us on life's journey of hunger and thirst of what God is making new!

From our Pastor, Steve Lowe
"You have done these things, and I kept silent;
you thought I was just like you." Psalm 50:21
This gem of a phrase is nestled in a psalm of rebuke and correction. It reminds us to not expect God to be like us. We are made in God's image but we should never confuse that with being like God. God hears all, knows all, and is in all places. God is holy and infinite!
The "these things" the scripture refers to are sinful things and God rejecting things the Israelites had done. Since there had been no swift punishment for their acts they concluded God was going to let it slide. The Psalmist reminds them (and us) that God is Just. Justice will be carried out, not like humans do it, but how an Almighty God does it. Who can resist? Our best response to such a reminder is to repent while there is still time. We should be quick to cry out to Jesus for mercy and mend our ways under grace.
